• Year 5 Market Day - Young Entrepreneur Competition

  On Friday, 20th June, our talented Year 5 pupils stepped into the world of business as they took part in the Young Entrepreneur Competition—a thrilling challenge inspired by The Apprentice. Each team was tasked with designing, marketing, and selling a product, putting their creativity, teamwork, and business acumen to the test.

   

  We’re thrilled to announce that the winner of this year’s competition is Antonia from Elm Class, who impressed customers with her outstanding business skills. Antonia achieved an incredible £170 in sales, with a remarkable profit margin of £155, securing her the top spot.

   

  Runners-up include:

   

  • David & Jack from Larch Class, who generated £83.45 in sales and achieved a strong profit margin of £68.45.
  • Jacob & Christabel, also from Larch Class, who made £77.88 in sales, with a commendable profit margin of £62.88.

   

  Congratulations to all participants for their hard work, innovative ideas, and entrepreneurial spirit. It was a fantastic day filled with enthusiasm, creativity, and impressive business potential. The future looks bright with such budding entrepreneurs in our midst!

  Thank you to those who joined our 5k Fun Run/Walk on Saturday 14th June. Hundreds of people took part in this event & made it to the end with flying colours! Thank you to the Purfleet Hub for their support towards this event.
