At Purfleet Primary Academy, to celebrate World Book Day, we asked our pupils to create their own rendition of their favourite book using only a shoebox. Many were fascinating. The task required a lot of creativity and outside-the-box thinking considering the finite resources they were given. They prevailed and were able to produce some amazing work. At this school, we encourage our pupils to use innovative strategies to achieve their goals. Well done everybody, til next year.

Coffee morning - 2nd November 2022

The Healthy Eating and Cooking on a budget workshop held at yesterday's coffee morning was a great success. Parents were able to get involved by cooking alongside the chef, where very simple but tasty dishes were prepared. The dishes produced included a simple quesadilla, a delicious chow mein (tastier than a Chinese restaurant), and a very tasty broccoli and cheese soup.

A big thank you to Mark Borrell for hosting this event, and to all the parents that attended. It was great to have such lovely feedback.
